Habit 5:  Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood

First seek to understand the other person, whether it is a prospect of yours, a customer with a need for your product, a team member that s struggling, etc. After you understand their position, and only then, try to be understood. Thi is the MOST important principle of interpersonal relations. This is the core essence of network marketing is relationship building.

To be an effective listener and to understand another is putting oneself in the perspective of the other person, listening empathically for both feeling and meaning. Do this and I promise your results in your business will sky rocket!

Habit 6:  Synergize

In network marketing you need to have trustful communication. You must discover ways to leverage people’s differences to create a whole that is greater than the sum of the parts.

Create a Mastermind team of the best people on your team and come up with ways to synergize each others talents. Doing this, you will be astonished at how many creative and powerful ideas you come up with that benefit the whole team!

Habit 7:  Sharpen the Saw

Take time out from production to build production capacity through personal renewal of the physical, mental, social/emotional, and spiritual dimensions. Maintain a balance among these dimensions.

Remember what I said above: Your business will only grow in direct proportion to the amount you grow as a person. Another way to put it is that the 2 most important qualities you MUST constantly sharpen (the saw) every day are:
