You can create your own blog, make videos and distribute them to youtube, etc. Write articles on topics people are looking for, use pay per click advertising. AS for offline strategies, you can use print media to position yourself as an authority.

Here is the bottom line, there are endless ways to build your home business today, BUT, you need to develop new skill sets that are that of a real entre[reneur and not just another company rep that has no posture, no leads, and no business.
